We took this idea from Billy Bob Thorton and Angelina Jolie. Even though they probably didn’t come up with it. Since I’ve heard of it being done before. What they did was fill a vial of their blood. They then turned it into a necklace. Each of them would then wear it around their necks. The irony is that they eventually ended up breaking up. I guess this gift isn’t for the serious boyfriend.
You would actually be surprised to learn that there is a lot of symbolism that goes with this gift. Some people even have erotic desires for blood. My friends all enjoy expensive sports like scuba diving, horse riding or skiing. They all seem rather surprised that anyone can enjoy running. It seems to me that they mostly think that there is not enough expensive gadgetry to take it seriously as a sport.
Let me set the records straight.
Yes the very minimum is a set of decent running trainers. This shouldn’t be sneezed at in itself – a good set of running trainers usually comes in at around GBP 60-80. This is by no means the end of fun expenditure though. Next on your list you’ll probably be looking at some lightweight running vests and shorts. This is also fairly boring to the untrained eye however don’t underestimate features such as back pockets in your lycra shorts or reflective stripes on your sleeves.

I have lost count of the number of times I have flooded my MP3 player and had to dry it out in a bowl of rice!
Running Rucksack – If you’re planning on running as a method of commuting to work, you’ll need to buy yourself a running rucksack in order to transport your work clothes and your sandwiches with you. Rucksacks also become useful on longer runs of 20 kilometres or more
Hydration – With longer runs of around 20 kilometres or half marathons it begins to become important to include hydration in your kitting up.
